Entrepreneurship empowers refugees.
It allows them to take direct control over their lives and overcome barriers they face in the labour market.
The project Start-Up Simulator supports Refugee entrepreneurs by developing an online, interactive role playing game that simulates a startup business where participants can develop their business plan, set up business infrastructure and run their operation before starting in real life.
Start-Up Simulator is reducing challenges (e.g. legislative, technical, financial, managerly) experienced by refugee entrepreneurs – by accompanying this simulator with step by step course material educating the participant on legislation and financial support mechanisms. The project aims to smooth the way for refugee startups to manage expectations better and launch their endeavour with solid research and virtual experience background.
