SUSPOP – Sustainable Steps to the Future with the Power of Our Past

This project aims to safeguard cultural heritage for the future by applying sustainable, modern methods to the reuse and redesign of culturally valuable old products, equipping trainees with practical skills in recycling, sustainable design, and innovative production techniques. Through hands-on trainings and workshops delivered in Turkey, Portugal, and Italy, participants will learn how to integrate traditional value with contemporary design while strengthening environmental awareness and the link between heritage and sustainability. Learning outputs and created materials will be shared via social media to broaden public awareness and encourage social change. The project is expected to increase participants’ cultural heritage and environmental responsibility, build competence in sustainable production, reinforce EU citizenship awareness, and strengthen local and international collaboration and policies supporting heritage protection and sustainability
